The Broncos flat pushed around the Patriots all night long.

Cedric Cobbs badly sprained his ankle in OT against the Chiefs Sunday.
The Broncos signed Quincy Morgan to a one-year contract and waived Charlie Adams.
The best thing to be said about this game is that the Broncos won the game. Jake Plummer had another rough day completing 16 of 30 passes (53.3%) for 173 yards and a pick-off. RB Tatum Bell carried the ball 16 times for 69 yards (4.3 ypc) and Mike Bell carried the ball 13 times for 44 yards (3.4 ypc). WR Javon Walker looked good catching 5 passes for 79 yards (15.8 avg) and rushing twice for 21 yards.
The defense was pretty tough yesterday. The Chiefs did run for 145 yards (4.3 ypc). The Broncos pass defense allowed the Broncos to complete 73.9% of their passes but only for 131 net yards.
The Chiefs and Broncos are both run-first teams that had trouble last week.
I put this loss squarely on Jake Plummer’s shoulders.
