The Denver Broncos have placed WR Edell Shepherd on the Injured Reserve List with an injured knee ending his season.  Shepherd did not play in the NFL last season and he was going to have a hard time making the Broncos anyway.  Shepherd has played in 25 games (0 starts) in his NFL career and he has caught 13 passes for 163 yards (12.5 avg) with 1 TD grab.  He also carried the ball 2 times for 5 yards (2.5 ypc) in his career.  The Broncos shouldn’t miss Shepherd at all in 2008.
