The Denver Broncos are sending three players to the Pro Bowl
33-year old CB Champ Bailey, 27-year old DE Elvis Dumervil and 22-year old rookie LB Von Miller have been elected to the Pro Bowl. Bailey and Miller will be starters. Bailey has played in 12 games for the Broncos so far this year and he has 36 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 2 interceptions, 8 passes defensed and 1 tackle for a loss. He is getting a little long in tooth, but he is still playing at a high level. Elvis Dumervil got off to a late start this year due to injury, but he has been making up for lost time. Dumervil has played in 13 games for the Broncos so far this year and he has 34 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 1 pass defensed and 1 tackle for a loss. Rookie first round pick Von Miller has been everything the Broncos dreamed he would be when they took him in the first round of the NFL Draft last April. Miller has played in 14 games for the Broncos so far this year and he has 64 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 8 tackles for a loss, 2 forced fumbles and 4 passes defensed. This trio of guys all deserved this honor as the Broncos’ D played a lot better this season than they did in 2010.
